- 9 are disabled. - 10 are non-religon. - 18 live without an improved water source. - 6 people own the entire wealth of community. - only 12 have computers.
6 people own 59% of the entire weather of the community, 13 are hungry or malnourished, 14 cant read, only 7 are educated at a secondary level, 47 live in an unbarn.
i picked these 5 randomly and i didnt really know anything about them .
If we could turn the population of the earth into a small community of 100 people, keeping the same proportions we have today .. - 47 people would live in an urban area. - 18 people would be Muslim. - 14 would not be illiterate. - 1 adult aged 15-49 would have HIV/AIDS. - 9 people would be disabled.
I chose these 5 facts because these are the ones that surprised me the most. Almost half of the community would live in an urban area and I thought that number would be a lot lower. Also, the fact that 14 people would not be able to read surprises me too.
- 9 are disabled - 43 without sanitation - 18 without improved water source - 13 are hungry and/or malnourished - 14 can't even read because only 7 are educated at a secondary level
• 7 Are Educated • 3 Have Internet Connection • 13 Practice Other Reliqions • 16 Are Non-Reliqious • 6 People Own 59% Of The Entire Wealth Of The Community
I Really Dont Know Why I Picked Them I Just Wanted To Post Somethinq Lmao

- To turn the population to 100 it wouldbe 61 Asians, 12 europeans, 8 north americans, 5 south americans & the carribean 13 African and 1 from oceania, 50 women, 50 men
- If I have food in my refigerator, a closet with my clothes and a bed to sleep on i would be richer than 75% of the population.
- I learned that there is a great amount of poverty in the world
I picked these three reasons because it is something that really surprises me. It surprised me becaues i wouldve never figures that there was that amount of poverty around the world. It was interesting to find out the numbers of each country that would be combined into one population.
- 13 People Are Hungry Or Malnourished - 53 Struggle To Live On US $ 2.00 Per Day Or Less - The Village Spend More Then US $ 1.12 Trillion On Military Expenditures - 9 Are Disabled - 33 Are Christian
61 asians, 5 south americans, 12 eurpeans, 12 have computers, and 3 have internet. This is important because it shows how poor other commuties are and shows how we should be appricateive of how our socitey is. Not take our econmy for advantage.
1) Coca-Cola: Corkers at Coca-Cola bottling plants have had their safety threatened and even been murdered by Colombian paramilitaries for trying to unionize.
2) Gateway: Gateway has faced lawsuits and been investigated by the federal government for insider trading, overstated earnings, and misleading investors about financial statements.
3) TimberLand: A factory that manufactured shoes for Timberland in China was caught using child labor, providing no health benefits, and requiring long work hours from its employees. Timberland offers its employees thousands of dollars in incentives to purchase hybrid cars and sabbaticals for employees who want to pursue a dream that benefits the community.
4) Exxon Mobile: Exxon's record of toxic spills, human rights abuses, and overall disregard for corporate responsibility principles have earned it a spot at the top of Co-op America's list of the world's most egregious corporations.
5) BMW: BMW has made innovations such as the recycling of methane gas to fuel 25 percent of its manufacturing operations, and using flax, hemp, jute, and other natural fibers as a base for its interior components
1. If you have a bed to sleep in nd aclothes to wear nd food to eat everyday and a roof over your head then you are richer then 75% of the entire worlds population. I picked this one because most people dont realize what they have and take it for granted. when they shouldnt. what you have may not seem like much to you but it is more then enough to some one who dont have much, or even anything.
2. 18 struggle to live on the U.S 1.00$ per day or less. I also picked this one because we get way more then 1.00$ a day and we still complain about how much we get and how we should get more. we are actully lucky to have jobs and get paid weekly/every two weeks. some people dont have jobs or anything and we have the nerve to talk and complain. jus think about how bad it is to struggle like that and have only 1.00$ to eat everyday and that doesnt get you much.
3. 18 live with out a improved water source. we have a water source and take adventaged of it. people complain when the water turns colors like brown or rusty. some poeple have to to drink it and not complain because thats all they have.
4. 43 live with out bacis sanitation. living with out sanitation is not good we live with it everyday. some dont and it causes health problems. its not good but we are lucky to have proper sanitation.
5. 14 cant read. were lucky that we have schools nd education. its hard to live with out an education. and for the people that do i feel so bad. it complicates things more. so we are lucky that we were thought to read. i think everyone should be able to have an education.
toyota was involved in a 2005 lawsuit for block stricker green house gas regulations in claifona the company has had a couple of clean air act volations law suites nestle has been sued for of impacts of its bottle operation and for false advertisng its products the international labor rights forum sued nestle for its involment with child labor dupoint is the third largest chemical producer in america The Political Economy Research Institute named DuPont the number 1 worst polluter and U.S. reebook in a plant they had in hondrous it was reported that the women were getting way under paid In 2006, Reebok issued a voluntary recall of 300,000 charm bracelets in the U.S and 145,000 in Ireland and the U.K following reports that a child in Minneapolis died from lead poisoning after swallowing the jewelry clorox is one of the lead manufacter of house hold prodcuts In January of 2009 The Clorox Company launched a recycling program for Brita pitcher water filters
so this is why we need to look at the companys we buy from because you never know i you bought a shir that a child made of if you bought someting that is possibly toxic
5 facts that i didnt know are that only three people have a cpu asins make up most of the people thats probly because there are a lot of asin countrys that 47 would live in urban areas that 33 are cristin it is a sad thing to know these facts
61 asians 8 north americans 50 men 9 disabled 14 cant read 47 urban area
i picked these five because i think they are relevant and it shows how people struggle without the help of others. I think that the urban area is lower than i thought it would be and the people that cant read is crazy because people should be educaated enough to at least read and write.this shows how school is an important factor in life and how much it effects some people when they get older.
- 9 are disabled. - 10 are non-religon. - 18 live without an improved water source. - 6 people own the entire wealth of community. - only 12 have computers.
- 9 are disabled - 18 without improved water source
- 1 adult aged 15-49 would have HIV/AIDS. - 13 are hungry and/or malnourished - 14 would not be illiterate.
i have chosen these five facts because I believe they how people struggle without any help. I realized that the urban area is lower than I had realized it had been and its unbelievable of how few people can even read. This just goes to show how important school is in your life and how it affects others when they grow up.
